Where do characters come from?

They’re everywhere! They’re in your head, in your heart, next door to you, across the street, in the big city, or on the other side of the world, they are there.

Whether you catch them in your trusty sketchbook or put them in a jar just don’t let them disappear! Some characters will stay with you forever until you give them life and others are so fleeting you’ll forget the second you turn your attention elsewhere.

Building Character

How are you? What a crazy time we are living in now. I hope you are keeping safe and healthy. That is the No.1 thing at the moment.

Now, on to our subject; building character.

Character development is probably one of my favourite stages in creating a children’s book. It’s fun and exciting. It’s like making a new friend. This practise is used in many industries.
